John seager's 2013 Review of the year.

Evening all,

Well i have to say without a shadow of a doubt that 2013 was one of the most productive years i have ever had, not only as a reporter but also as a man. I started of the year i was a jobless wannabee reporter who was looking for work to pay the bills and fund my reporting trips. but i was detmined to get a little part time job whilst expanding my coverage and knowledge of being a reporter at the sdame time and ovber all i felt that i did that whilst exceeding my expectations as well.

But where to begin... well I think that there is only one place to start:

Gillingham FC League Two Champions 2012-13

At the beginning of the year, we were placed in the top 2 and I thought that as long as we don't mess it up like we have been in the past few seasons, then we will achieved our goal of getting out of this god forsaken division which we have been in for far too long - three seasons in my opinion is far too long for a team of our quality to be here in a league where no one wants to be and no one wants to travel to places like Accrington or Morecambe on a tuesday night for football - but as the winter months came and went, we maintain our points tally and obtaining our record best away season ever, I knew that we had a great chance to grab not only promotion but our first league title since 1964 and no one at the beginning of the season could ever predict that.

The game where i knew we would secure our promotion was the Rotherham United home game on Bank Holiday Monday. It was a hot day at the Priestfield and many of the fans knew that a win would put us one foot in League One. And it was a great win as a single goal from Deon Burton gave us all three points and knowing that a point in the following game against Torquay United - oh great another old stomping ground which could haunt us - would give us the promotion we deserved from this amazing season.

Come the day of the Torquay game, an ever bigger crowd was at the Priesfield to see local fan and local Sittingbourne lad Danny Kedwell get the only goal of the game to give Gillingham the promotion they so deserved all season. The party in the Blues Rock Cafe after the game was one never to be forgotten after the game was never to be forgotten. I have never seen the place so packed out before and when the players came in to celebrate, I managed to get covered in champagne from Leon Legge as the celebrations continued long into the night.

But there was one thing left to achieve and that was to get only one point from our remaining three games to secure the league title. And despite taking 1400 fans to Cheltenham only to lose 1-0, it was our last home game of the season where a point against AFC Wimbledon would see us achieve the title. and despite going ahead though Burton and Kedwell - against his former club - the dons did battle b=ack to get a draw which not only kept them up in the division but also managed to secure our first league title since 1964. The celebration on the pitch were totally memorable and everyone stayed behind to celebrate with the team as they were presented with the trophy at the end of a special day not only for the fans but also for the club.

Overall it was the appointment of Martin Allen which i believe was the reason why we got promoted. It was a brave decision from Scally to sign him and it was the 'breath of fresh air' we needed to move the club forward. Sadly it didn't last as he was sacked in November and replaced an the interim manager Peter Taylor who's appointment has got some results to move the Gills out of bottom four and hopefully staying in the division for another season.

Well I thought that was going to be the biggest sporting story i would be reporting on, but this was totally overshadowed a few weeks later in July.

2013 Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup

When I heard that the tournament was going to happen at Medway Park in Gillingham, I immediately told Ian - editor of the Medway Times online newspaper - this is the major story that I have been looking for and we need to cover it extensively.  and thats exactly what we tried to do. Luckily for me I had the week off work so i can dedicate myself to the tournament over the duration so i don't miss any of the action. I also tried to spread the word to many of my current contacts within the BBC and ITV News Network and luckily i had at least two contacts who would be interested about the tournament as some of the England players were based in the North of England so the pressure was on to make the coverage a success. I spent every single match at the side of the pitch writing on the action and despite some one sided games each match day had at least one game which was close and tightly fought. When it came to finals day, the best two sides in the competition fought out a classic with France winning by two points despite England having a great comeback and nearly taking the game to extra time. But overall the games were played in a fantastic atmosphere lead by some wonderful volunteers, the players from all six nations all took part in a professional manner who had to gave up their own time in order to take part in the tournament with equipment paid and raised by their own ways in order to take part in the torunament.

But for me It lead to some more doors being open for me. I got some wonderful contacts from all of the teams, the RFL, Medway Sport and Medway Council and I even bagged a trip to either Auckland or Sydney depending on who gets to host the next tournament so that was exciting for the future. but most of all we covered the whole tournament better than the local newspapers the Kent Messenger and both the local BBC and ITV news as well. And as a follow up as well I made contact with two new sides set up because of the tournament, one of the being the Gravesend Dynamite WCRLFC side. so overall for me the most productive 10 days since I graduated form university as a journalist back in 2009.

But I also had another great sporing story which I followed over the year.

Kent Kings Speedway 2013 season

I was aware that there was going to be a new speedway team being based in Sittingbourne at the same place where they race greyhounds just on the inside of the track. But I wasn't aware on how popular it was going to be. On the first race day at the new track over a thousand people turned up to see the new team but it did take me at least a couple of meetings to get the grasp of Speedway and how it works. What i didn't know that there was and still is some politics surrounding the team and the residents of Sittingbourne near to the stadium as they are not happy of them being there but a curfew was put in order to keep the peace between them and so far it is working wonders. On  the track the team has been getting better and better, and there is even talk of them being a Elite league side in the near future which is great for Kent.

It also kept my reporting skills up during the summer months away from both the football and Rigby league. But again i have and will be keeping in great contact with the fans and the riders for next season.

I also had some other great success over the year. I managed to get and keep of of two normal daily jobs whilst i managed my journlaism work on the side and I also started my driving lessons which is long overdue but the timing is right to do it after finding a full time normal job as I won't get another opportunity to do it and with my career as a reporter being based on working from car it needs to be done.

I have improved a lot as a journalist over the past year but i want that to grow during 2014 and i have the determination, passion and belief to make this happen but it has to be done on inch at a time. there are some things that i want to happen to me in 2014 as well but I want to get the three most important things done this year.

Pass my driving test - get my own place - get a paid reporting job.

If you were to ask me will i get those three things done in 2014, i will have to answer a big fay YES!!!

Well to you all - that will do for now, so have a merry and enjoyable 2014 and i hope it will bring everything that you want from it.

Till next time,

I'll Sithee

League One 2013-14 Preview from the fans, Part 12: Swindon Town and Crawley Town

Well it only seems like yesterday that Yeovil defeated Brentford to close the 2012-13 League One season - well 66 days to be exact. But already the ball has started rolling for the beginning of the new 2013-14 League One season.

And as part of my build up  for a new season where i will be covering as many of the Gillingham games as I physically can, I have recruited fans from all 24 clubs from League One and get their options for their clubs as the new season starts on August the 3rd.

Today marks the final day and last but no means least, we have two clubs who came up from League Two at the end of the 2011-12 season and both sides have done really well to finish quite strong in their first season in League One. Both sides are looking to push forward with their campaigns this time around which can only mean- unless I have made an almighty cock up somewhere - it's Swindon Town and Crawley Town.

CRAWLEY TOWN

Name: Craig Bratt

Occupation away from supporting your club:

Student

How long have you been a supporter of Crawley Town and how did you start supporting them?

Started supporting Crawley in 2006 through a family friend

Let’s get this ball rolling:

What would be your Dream season?

Play off Final, JPT win at Wembley and away tie at Arsenal in the cup!

And what will make it a Nightmare season for you?

Not being able to compete and finishing rock bottom

Our own fans think our team is…

Defensively solid but in need of a new striker

Other teams’ fans think our team is…

Horrible cheats, bank rolled

The new season:
How has Pre-Season been for you this time around?

We have had some dodgy results to better opposition but rounded off nicely with a win over Premiership Crystal Palace at home.

Have you got the right manager and how popular is he?

The right manager? Yes, Popularity? Not so great

Are there any new signings that you are excited about?

Andy Drury has signed from Ipswich who is one to watch!

Name the player that you would happily drive to his next club (and pay for the taxi as well)...

Gary Alexander. He's useless and helped keep the Kingston circus up last season.

Name an opposition player you despise...

N/A

Name an opposition player you would love to have at your club?

Marlon Pack.

If I was to visit your club on an away trip this season, name one thing I must do in your town? (Can be anything, football-related or otherwise... from visiting a famous sight, to making sure you don’t park your car somewhere, to find a certain drink in a pub or a nice place to eat)

See the giant red and white football on the roundabout outside the ground!

Onto other important matters:

You finished only just outside the playoffs last season; do you think that you can go one step further this season?

To put it simply, No, I personally think it is too big of a task for a club of our size.
You only scored 59 goals last season which was one of the lowest within the top 10 in the division, do you agree that this needs to change in order for you to make the playoffs?

In this division you need goals to get anywhere, and we certainly need a goal scorer if we ever do aim for the play offs.

Former manager Steve Evans will be a visiting manager this season; will you give him a good reception?

Will he get a good reception? No, the man’s an idiot. Yes, he got us to where we are, but an idiot. Luring Tubbs to Rotherham certainly hasn't helped his case.

And now onto the really important stuff:

Who do you think will be the top 6 at the end of the season?

Wolves
MK Dons
Peterborough
Bristol City
Brentford
Sheff Utd

Who do you think will go down to League 2?

Colchester
Coventry
Shrewsbury
Oldham

And finally, in all honesty, where do you think you will finish this season?

SWINDON TOWN

Name:  Ewan Walsh

Occupation away from supporting your club:

Teacher

How long have you been a supporter of Swindon and how did you start supporting them?

I started watching Swindon when I was about 7 or 8, because my whole family had been watching STFC, and I've loved it since then.

Let’s get this ball rolling:

What would be your Dream season?

Dream season would be a decent cup run and promotion.

And what will make it a Nightmare season for you?

With the board at times having poor communications with the fans, fans are worrying about what is going on behind the club, so I’ll say entering administration.

Our own fans think our team is…

Our fans have very mixed views on the upcoming season. Some think relegation is on the cards; however others see us winning promotion.

Other teams’ fans think our team is…

Having let go of a lot of key experienced players for our success in the previous season (reaching the last 16 of the capital one cup and playoff semi finals) most fans from other clubs are expecting us to have a weak team.

The new season:

How has Pre-Season been for you this time around?

Eventful, starting it with a win other a local Swindon side, but then losing to Banbury United and Forest Green Rovers. (Both non-league sides) Kevin MacDonald then stepped down as manager (reasons un-known) after just 14 games at the club. However Town, now playing under care taker manager Mark Cooper, put together a top performance to earn a 1-1 draw with Premier League outfit Spurs. Less than 24hrs later we made another good performance but lost 3-0 against championship side Birmingham. Our tour to Portugal turned out to be a success beating Spurs U21 4-1 and then drawing to them a few days later 3-3.

Have you got the right manager and how popular is he?

Can't comment on manager as we don't have one, although care taker boss Mark Cooper isn't the most popular man at Swindon.

Are there any new signings that you are excited about?

We have made a few good signings in Ryan Mason, Massiomo Loungo, Grant Hall and Alex Pritchard (all on loan from Spurs) Ryan Harley from Brighton is also a good looking signing.

Name the player that you would happily drive to his next club (and pay for the taxi as well)...

Alan Navvaro, not a bad player but injury prone and is on big money.

Name an opposition player you despise...

Clayton Donaldson of Brentford, because he has scored some vital goals for them against us.

Name an opposition player you would love to have at your club?

I'd love to have released by rivals Oxford in may. Impresses me when ever I see him.

If I was to visit your club on an away trip this season, name one thing I must do in your town? (Can be anything, football-related or otherwise... from visiting a famous sight, to making sure you don’t park your car somewhere, to find a certain drink in a pub or a nice place to eat)

Bar 72 is always popular for away fans visiting the CG on a match day, a bar just for the away fans to have a drink before the game.

Onto other important matters:

How does your club recover from a disappointing penalty shootout defeat against Brentford and rebuild yourself ready for another chance of promotion?

You let Paul Benson go on loan at Cheltenham towards the end of last season where he did ok, would you have played him against Brentford?

His goals got us out of L2 and is a great guy, but as he's got older he's lost a bit of his spark in my opinion. I would have brought him on as a sub as Miles Storey missed a penalty which Paul Benson would of no doubt scored.

During the middle of the last season, Paolo Di Canio left the club after false promises from the board of Swindon, is there still a lot of questions surrounding the situation around the club and why he left?

Di Canio left to what he described as 'Broken promises' from the club. However ex owner Andrew Black has repeatedly said this is nonsense. Most fans believe he didn't have the guts to finish the job when times got a bit tougher for us.

And now onto the really important stuff:

Who do you think will be the top 6 at the end of the season?

Brentford, Wolves, Sheffield United, Bristol City, MK Dons, Preston (in that order)

Who do you think will go down to League 2?

Coventry, Bradford, Shrewsbury and Oldham.

And finally, in all honesty, where do you think you will finish this
season?

10th

============

And with the final two clubs now done and dusted, we can now let the talking stop and let the action begin as we all start a 9 month journey into the unknown.

By the end of May, no doubt hearts will be broken, dreams dashed and glory will be given the very best as we continue another unforgettable football season.

To all who have taken part, I salute your honesty here and thanks for taking part. I hope that when I visit your club at any point during the season I hope that we can share our experiences of the clubs we all love so much over a drink or two - PS I'm buying one first.

To conclude, all I need to say at the end of this is...

FOOTBALL IS BACK!!!!!

League One 2013-14 Preview from the fans, Part 11: Brentford and Wolves

Evening all,

Well it only seems like yesterday that Yeovil defeated Brentford to close the 2012-13 League One season - well 65 days to be exact.

Today marks the penuliate day we look at two sides will in my opinion will be at the top of the table come the end of the season. But you have a look back at last season and both sides should NOT be in this division. But for a cruel twist of fate, they are here and fighting for promotion. I'm talking about Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

BRENTFORD

Name: Arthur Richards

Occupation away from supporting your club:

Student

How long have you been a supporter of Brentford and how did you start supporting them?

13 years, Dad took me to first game, both been season ticket holders since.

Let’s get this ball rolling:

What would be your Dream season?

Automatic promotion, a JPT Wembley victory, or a FA cup run

And what will make it a Nightmare season for you?

Relegation, but realistically, losing the playoffs again.

Our own fans think our team is…

the Barcelona of the lower leagues

Other teams’ fans think our team is…

A young side who play good football

The new season:

How has Pre-Season been for you this time around?

Very promising, outplayed championship outfit Millwall 3-0, and narrowly lost to champions league qualifiers Celtic

Have you got the right manager and how popular is he?

Yes, and the large majority of fans agree.

Are there any new signings that you are excited about?

Will Grigg, with 20 league goals last season, Martin Fillo, a Czech international, and Javi Venta, with 200+ La Liga games experience, are all interesting signings.

Name the player that you would happily drive to his next club (and pay for the taxi as well)...

Hard to say, suppose Hayes as he is probably on a few bob

Name an opposition player you despise...

Dave Kitson

Name an opposition player you would love to have at your club?

A proper goalscoring centre mid, like Matt Ritchie, Luke Murphy, Jose Baxter etc. Although I fancy Sam Saunders to score a few this year...

If I was to visit your club on an away trip this season, name one thing I must do in your town? (Can be anything, football-related or otherwise... from visiting a famous sight, to making sure you don’t park your car somewhere, to find a certain drink in a pub or a nice place to eat)

Go to the pub on the corner...4 times.

Onto other important matters:

How do you come back from missing out on promotion on the last day of last season?

We showed by reaching the final on penalties, we were over it. We have Improved the squad, and should go one better.

Is this the season where you MUST get promotion to the Championship?

With all the promising youngsters secured on decent contracts, I wouldn’t say it is vital, however I think promotion is a matter of when, not if.

Is there anything you would like Uwe Rosler to change at the club in order for you to go up?

More onions in the burger.

And now onto the really important stuff:

Who do you think will be the top 6 at the end of the season?

Wolves, Brentford, Sheffield United, Peterborough, Preston, Bristol City

Who do you think will go down to League 2?

Shrewsbury, Walsall, Oldham, Stevenage

And finally, in all honesty, where do you think you will finish this season?

Second, behind Wolves.

WOLVES

Name:  garry

Occupation away from supporting your club:

builder/painter/gardener

How long have you been a supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers and how did you start supporting them?

Been supporting them all my life, runs in the family!

Let’s get this ball rolling:

What would be your Dream season?

To win league 1 and get promoted, the first time of trying.

And what will make it a Nightmare season for you?

If we finished mid-table. That would be awful.

Our own fans think our team is…

looking a lot better this season with several new arrivals such as Kenny jacket and Sam rickets. Also a few younger players are making it into the team.

Other teams’ fans think our team is…

I'm not so sure but I imagine they think our team is crap!

The new season:

How has Pre-Season been for you this time around?

Very good. Unbeaten so far with only one preseason game to go against real betis.

Have you got the right manager and how popular is he?

I don’t know much about KJ but from the interviews I've saw he looks very confident and seems a very nice bloke. He is also popular in the dressing room by the sound of things

Are there any new signings that you are excited about?

Yes, Sam rickets is one that stood out. He is a good defender and seems really eager to get stuck in this season

Name the player that you would happily drive to his next club (and pay for the taxi as well)...

Jamie O'Hara  Hes been awful since we bought him. I would happily pay his taxi fare!

Name an opposition player you despise...

there's a few of them, I genuinely wouldn’t know where to start!

Name an opposition player you would love to have at your club?

Again, theres loads but I would love a person that would actually score goals!

If I was to visit your club on an away trip this season, name one thing I must do in your town? (Can be anything, football-related or otherwise... from visiting a famous sight, to making sure you don’t park your car somewhere, to find a certain drink in a pub or a nice place to eat)

there are several nice pubs in Wolverhampton such as the hogs head. I would recommend that. Food is top notch in there.

Onto other important matters:

Your back in the third tier of English football for the first time since 1989, Will it be a reality check for everyone connecting with the club, especially your chairman?

Yes for sure!

Kenny Jackett is the new man in charge under the club new ‘Head Coach’ role; do you think that he could be the man who could get your club back into the Championship?

Well… he really seems like he could, yes! If he gets the players playing for him, he’ll do very well here.

Many fans consider you as the team to beat over the new season, how do your own fans see your clubs chances for automatic promotion?

I think we are being very optimistic, were all hoping for a top 3 finish (at least!)

And now onto the really important stuff:

Who do you think will be the top 6 at the end of the season?

Wolves, P’boro, Bristol City, Walsall, sheff utd, Bradford. (NO PARTICULAR ORDER)

Who do you think will go down to League 2?

Not to sure! Think it will be really tight at the bottom of league 1.

And finally, in all honesty, where do you think you will finish this season?

Im going to say 2nd. Don’t want to jinx us!

------------

We haven't got that many fans from clubs in League One left to ask but the two remaining sides will be given their chance to speak out on the new season which begins on Saturday.

To be concluded...

League One 2013-14 Preview from the fans, Part 10: Crewe Alexandra and MK Dons

Evening all,

Well it only seems like yesterday that Yeovil defeated Brentford to close the 2012-13 League One season - well 65 days to be exact.

Today we look at two sides who finished outside of the Playoff zone last season and fans from both clubs are hoping that last season was a stepping stone in the right direction as new season starts. We are of course talking about Crewe Alexandra and MK Dons.

CREWE ALEXANDRA

Name:  Sam Christie

Occupation away from supporting your club:

News Journalist

How long have you been a supporter of Crewe Alexandra and how did you start supporting them?

14 years. Back then we were in the old First Division. £3.50 a ticket to watch second-tier football – what’s not to love?

Let’s get this ball rolling:

What would be your Dream season?

Somehow mounting a promotion charge, beating rivals Port Vale on the last day of the season to the final automatic promotion spot.

And what will make it a Nightmare season for you?

Relegated by Christmas.

Our own fans think our team is…

Free-flowing dynamite.

Other teams’ fans think our team is…

Overrated s****.

The new season:

How has Pre-Season been for you this time around?

Overshadowed by seven players being arrested in connection with an alleged rape of a woman while on a pre-season tour in Cornwall.  This has been followed up a loss to Blackburn and a draw away at Chester. Not ideal.

Have you got the right manager and how popular is he?

Yes. Steve Davis is god in the eyes of Alex fans. Was one-time favourite for Burnley job earlier this summer.

Are there any new signings that you are excited about?

Looking forward to watching striker Vadaine Oliver who we signed from Lincoln. Heard good things about the lad.

Name the player that you would happily drive to his next club (and pay for the taxi as well)...

Not a big fan of Mark Ellis. Far too slow.

Name an opposition player you despise...

Lee Hughes, for obvious reasons.

Name an opposition player you would love to have at your club?

Would have loved super Kevin Davies but he’s joined Preston.

If I was to visit your club on an away trip this season, name one thing I must do in your town? (Can be anything, football-related or otherwise... from visiting a famous sight, to making sure you don’t park your car somewhere, to find a certain drink in a pub or a nice place to eat)

Pubs close to the ground. Rare these days. Nothing much else to do in Crewe other than drink!

Onto other important matters:

You finished mid tale on your return to League One last season and you won the Football League trophy, is that a good springboard to have a good season this time around?

It should be, but since we’ve lost our skipper and best player Luke Murphy to Leeds, I can’t see us emulating last season’s achievement.

You manage to keep Steve Davis away from the Wolves Job; will you still keep him should the Wolves ‘Head Coach’ role become vacant during the season?

Yeah, don’t think he’ll want that role.

Crewe has always had a great reputation on brining in and playing academy players, any good ones to watch out for the new season?

The stage is set for striker Max Clayton to have a blinding season.

And now onto the really important stuff:

Who do you think will be the top 6 at the end of the season?

Preston, Sheff United, Wolves, Peterborough, Notts County, and Bristol City.

Who do you think will go down to League 2?

Coventry, Rotherham, Oldham and Swindon.

And finally, in all honesty, where do you think you will finish this season?

MK DONS

Name: Roy Everett

Occupation away from supporting your club:

I'm an Aircraft Technician by trade.

How long have you been a supporter of the MK Dons and how did you start supporting them?

I started following The Dons because everybody was

against them And I believed the move to MK was the best move

for Wimbledon F.C.

Let’s get this ball rolling:

What would be your Dream season?

My dream season would be promotion to the Championship, not interested in a cup run this year as I believe the cup run last season affected our league form....

And what will make it a Nightmare season for you?

My Nightmare season would be finishing in mid-table with nothing to play for; at least if you are at the top or the bottom you have the excitement. And the result matters so what.

Our own fans think our team is…

Our fans think our team/club is making history rather than living in history like a lot of clubs do these days!

Other teams’ fans think our team is…

Other fans think our club is stolen, that would be all!

The new season:

How has Pre-Season been for you this time around?

The training camp in Ireland was a success, but ultimately friendlies are what they say they are. Friendlies are for players not for fans really. But we have signed some promising young talent this summer, so hopefully the good mixture of youth and experience we have can push us that extra mile we were missing last season!
Have you got the right manager and how popular is he?
Karl Robinson is the right man to lead MK Dons to the championship, as he plays football in the right way. And he is extremely supported by the fans but the fans wish that the club would invest more on the team as Robbo is doing a great job on a very limited budget!

Are there any new signings that you are excited about?

Absolutely, Ben Reeves who we signed from Southampton looks a promising young player, but have also heard some great things about Jason Banton who we have on a half season loan from Crystal Palace.

Name the player that you would happily drive to his next club (and pay for the taxi as well)...

Purely for his inconsistency I would say Daniel Powell, goes for amazing to awful in a hiccup... But he is young so has a lot to learn still.

Name an opposition player you despise...

Clayton Donaldson (Brentford) purely for the fact every time he plays against us he scores.

Name an opposition player you would love to have at your club?

William Grigg, but as he has just signed for Brentford I believe I could be waiting a long time for that to happen. But I would also like Stuart Beavon who currently plays for Preston North End.

If I was to visit your club on an away trip this season, name one thing I must do in your town? (Can be anything, football-related or otherwise... from visiting a famous sight, to making sure you don’t park your car somewhere, to find a certain drink in a pub or a nice place to eat)

Willen Lake is great place to visit for the family and a great day out.

Onto other important matters:

Many of the fans I have been talking to agree that the MK Dons are not far off being a championship club, do you agree with this statement?

We have a Championship stadium and we are ticking the right boxes, but as I said earlier you need to invest in your squad. Great players get you promoted not a great stadium; I understand Pete Winkleman is building a foundation for this club to have a staying power in the Championship. We need to get there first...

Your club managed to keep hold of promising manager Karl Robinson last season despite being linked to a number of higher profile managerial jobs; do you think you can do the same again this season?

I believe that Karl Robinson is a fantastic manager, and he believes that everybody in this club is pushing in the right direction. Having said that he has made mistakes, mistakes that have been unnoticed because he is not at a "Big club" and he can afford to make them mistakes at MK Dons....

You have some very promising young players coming though the side at present, do you think that is the blueprint for future of Football in Milton Keynes?

Of course, that should be the blueprint for every club at this level really. Walsall for me is a great example for developing young talent at this level. They made history last season by fielding a whole team of players that have come through their youth system. And not just MK Dons but the whole of the football league should follow their lead.

And now onto the really important stuff:

Who do you think will be the top 6 at the end of the season?

1. Wolves
2. Brentford

----------------------

3. Sheff Utd

4. MK Dons

5. Bristol City

6. Peterborough

Who do you think will go down to League 2?

Stevenage, Oldham, Shrewsbury and Port Vale...

And finally, in all honesty, where do you think you will finish this season?

Playoffs this season, after the disappointment of missing out on them last season!

------------

We haven't got that many fans from clubs in League One left to ask but the four remaining sides will be given their chance to speak out on the new season which begins on Saturday.

To be continued...
